About
Official Discord community of Ed Greenwood, author, original creator of the Forgotten Realms, and unsupervised wizard.
Hail and well met! Welcome home!
This server is all about sharing our love of the Forgotten Realms as well as other fantasy and tabletop roleplaying game settings.
If you're reading this then it's likely you've just found your tribe. This is an incredible community of passionate individuals who have come together to create amazing things and help one another escape the harshness of the real world.
Maybe you want advice on worldbuilding, or maybe you'd like to ask specific and/or complicated questions about the Realms, or perhaps you'd just like to share your characters, campaign stories, or art from your home game. Regardless of what brought you to here, there is a community for you.
Joining is also the absolute best way to keep up with everything Ed Greenwood is doing, from new videos to even bigger projects, Ed is always creating, and being a part of this server will guarantee you never miss an update (nor a chance to help influence the kind of content he makes next)!
The official Ed Greenwood server is full of accepting and friendly folks who pride themselves on their knowledge of the Realms and their willingness to share that knowledge. We've done Q&As, art shares, book clubs, fantasy word pronunciation workshops, and much more!
We will love having you, and we can't wait to see all of the wonderful things we'll build together.
