About
MTG Marketplace is a server dedicated to the buying, selling, and trading of Magic the Gathering cards and merchandise.
MTG Marketplace started as an answer to the problem of anonymity in Magic the Gathering BST channels across different servers. If a user was banned from one Discord server for scamming, they could simply jump to another server with their own trading channel and continue their dirty work.
MTG Marketplace seeks to unify all MTG players on Discord and bring them together in one place for trading, buying, and selling. Doing so will make playing Magic and participating in other MTG communities safer.
We boast a unique reputation tracking system, so you can know who you're dealing with and what other users have thought of their transactions. Those who have been found to be breaking server rules to the extent of not being trustworthy are banned and added to a "blacklist", a catered list of users and some personal identifiers that you can cross-reference with new accounts to make sure you're not running into the same people. We are doing everything we can to educate users and give the safest experience for buying/selling/trading on Discord.
MTG Marketplace is not only a place for money but is also a great way to get involved in the MTG Community. We have a dedicated list of partner servers who will satisfy all your MTG needs on Discord no matter what format you enjoy.
You'll meet friendly people, enjoy MTG Finance-related memes/emotes and come to appreciate the largest community of cardboard addicts on the entire app.
