Discord snowflake decoder
Every Discord ID carries the moment it was issued. Paste one and read the date out of it — no request is made, and nothing about whoever or whatever the ID belongs to is looked up.
How the date gets in there
A snowflake is a 64-bit number with the time built into its top bits. Shift it right by 22 and you have milliseconds since Discord's own epoch, 1420070400000 — the first instant of 2015. Add the two and you have an ordinary Unix time.
The remaining 22 bits identify the machine that issued the ID and count IDs issued in the same millisecond. They are included above because they are in the number, not because they mean much to a reader.
This works on every Discord ID — users, servers, channels, messages, applications — because they are all issued the same way. It says when, never who.
