Astrobiscuit

O serwerze

🔭We want this server to be a super friendly place where fellow astronomy nerds help each other take pictures of space.

⭐Although we focus on astrophotography we would like to welcome and learn from all folks interested in astronomy be it visual or theoretical or something else.

😁I hope that this will be a place where you can make nerd mates from other parts of the world and maybe go visit them on your holidays!

The list of things we do on the server is quite long but the most popular channels include: #ask-a-nerd: where our community tries to answer your astro questions in real time. #hall of fame: where we highlight the work of our amazing astrophotgraphers #share your data: where excellent astrophotgraphy processors process other folks data. #should I buy this: where you can get advice on buying astro gear #Competitions: where members compete by shooting the same targets #Big Amateur Telescope: aka the BAT where members all point at the same target in an effort to produce incredible astro images.

There are many more channels that cater to visual, solar, radio and theoretical astronomy as well as do it yourself channels for folks who build their own scopes, trackers, focusers and observatories. We also have live streaming star parties where anyone cans stream views through their scope.
