The Developer Safe Place

À propos

Welcome to David's Developer Safe Place, a thriving Discord community designed for developers of all expertise levels. We provide a nurturing and collaborative environment that fosters learning, sharing, and creating for coding, software and development.

Our signature weekly event, 'Ship-in-30,' challenges members to collectively craft an open source project in just 30 days. This hands-on experience helps sharpen your coding skills, deepens your understanding of open source contributions, and instills effective collaboration habits.

But the learning doesn't stop there. We've curated a rich repository of resources, covering a broad spectrum of domains from web development to machine learning. Beginners and veterans alike will find guides, tutorials, articles, and papers to bolster their knowledge.

Complementing these resources are our community coaches—seasoned developers who offer technical guidance, career advice, and project feedback. They're here to help you evolve into a well-rounded developer and succeed in the tech world.

David's Developer Safe Place is more than a server; it's a community. We celebrate victories, overcome challenges together, and learn from our shared experiences. Non-programming events like game nights and casual chats ensure a balanced, enjoyable environment. Join us in making coding not just a skill, but a shared passion.
